I am saddened by the news that Patrick Swayze has passed away. While not the greatest actor of our generation, I did enjoy many of his films, my favourite being "Point Break". The hunky actor who danced his way into viewers’ hearts with “Dirty Dancing” and then broke them with “Ghost,” died yesterday after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 57 years old, the same age as my Dad when he died of a heart attack, both too, too young.

Patrick Swayze dies from cancer
I am saddened by the news that Patrick Swayze has passed away. While not the greatest actor of our generation, I did enjoy many of his films, my favourite being "Point Break".
